Elizabeth is a multi-sport athlete who excels on the softball field and in the classroom. A member of the Class of 2029 at Pymatuning Valley High School, she earned a 4.0 GPA in every nine-week grading period of her time at Pymatuning Valley Middle School, recognized with the Joanne Schaefer Award.
After a successful first year of travel softball in 2022-2023 with the local Aftershock program, Elizabeth joined the Honey Badgers in Youngstown, Ohio, playing for head coach Nicole Fiddler — also an assistant for the 2023 and 2024 Ohio High School Softball State Champions at Austintown Fitch. Under Coach Fiddler she improved considerably on defense at second base and in the outfield, while learning the mental side of playing softball at a high level.
In the fall of 2024 she moved to Thunder Elite Fastpitch, an organization known across the region for high-level play, strong development of slappers, and a long track record of sending players into college softball. Playing for coach Nikki Jervis proved to be the right move. After playing for Jeff Steiner and Nick Price in the Spring of 2025, the summer season proved to be the best of her career. She posted career highs across the board, batting .524 (43-for-82) and leading her team in average, on-base percentage, steals, singles, walks and runs while continuing to sharpen her outfield play.
Elizabeth entered her freshman year at Pymatuning Valley expecting to compete for an outfield spot on varsity, but spent most of the season at second base, batting second in the lineup. She closed the year with a 5-for-5 performance against NAC powerhouse Mathews to finish at an even .500 (30-for-60), scoring 27 runs and stealing 16 bases across 21 games. Her .704 average against NAC Stars Division opponents — 19-for-27 with 18 runs and 11 stolen bases in 10 games — earned her a spot on the All-NAC First Team.
She returned to Thunder Elite for 2025-2026, batting .485 and again leading her team in stolen bases over the summer season, and will play for Coach Jervis through 2026-2027. Elizabeth has added private lessons with former University of Illinois infielder Megan Ward to sharpen her glove work in the middle infield and outfield, and continues to work regularly with hitting coach Mark Jordan in Andover, Ohio — a hidden gem of the coaching world who teaches slapping at a high level.
